Auditorium
A 400 seat semi-circular event space with a high definition projector with a 16x9
motorized drop-down screen. The projection system has the capability to display computer
and various video images. This room has an in-ceiling audio speaker system with wireless
microphone capability. A stage is located on the lower level for presentations, panel
discussions, and interactive demonstrations.
Special Events
A large multi-purpose event room that can be subdivided into three separate areas:
White Oak Room, Buffalo Bayou Room, and Houston Room. Each section has a projector,
motorized drop down screen, and Blu-ray player located within each section, along
with the capability to display computer images. Each room has an in-ceiling audio
speaker system with wireless microphone capability.
Willow Street Pump Station
The Exhibition Room has the ability to display a video source from computer or built
in DVD player. There is also a podium and wireless microphones available for speech
enhancement. The smaller Assembly Room also has a ceiling-mounted projector with motorized
drop down screen and speaker systems. This space is currently unavailable.
Welcome Center (Girard Building)
The Welcome Center is a large open area featuring a stunning glass wall with a scenic
view of the Houston landscape. The area has an in-ceiling audio speaker system allowing
music and wireless microphone capability. This space is currently unavailable.
TDECU Tour Room (Girard Building)
The TDECU Tour Room is a large multi-purpose event space with plenty of sunlight featuring
a large mural of the downtown cityscape. This space can accommodate up to 140 people.
The TDECU Tour Room has a large video wall and includes a Blu-ray player, along with
its own computer. This room has an in-ceiling audio speaker system with wireless microphone
capability. This space is currently unavailable.
Milam & Travis Special Event Rooms (Girard Building)
The Milam and Travis Room(s) is a large multi-purpose event room that can be subdivided
into two separate rooms: Milam Room and Travis Room. The rooms can be used individually
or combined. When combined, they can accommodate up to 176 people. Each room has its
own projector, motorized drop down screen, and Blu-ray player, along with their own
built-in computer and in-ceiling audio speaker system with wireless microphone capability.

C100 Multipurpose Room
A medium sized presentation room complete with dual motorized drop down screens, ceiling-mounted
projectors, in-room PC, and wall mounted speakers. There is a wireless microphone
system for either handheld or lavaliere microphone.
B113 Lecture Hall
A medium sized lecture hall with dual motorized drop down screens, ceiling-mounted
projectors, in-room PC, and wall mounted speakers. A wireless lavaliere is also available.
Skyline Lounge
Located behind the auditorium and looking out to the South Deck this area, which has
three 42" displays capable of showing cable/video or computer sources.
ACAD 701 Conference Room
Boardroom style conference room with built in PC, ceiling-mounted projector, motorized
drop down screen, and wall mounted speakers. This room also has the capability for
web conferencing.

ACAD 700H Conference Room
Large boardroom style conference room with several tabletop microphones built in PC,
ceiling mounted projector, motorized drop down screen, and wall mounted speakers.
The room also has the capability to teleconference.

Electronic Classrooms
Located in the Academic Computing Lab, the Commerce Building Lab, or in the Teaching
Technology Learning Center. All contain the same equipment installed in Presentation
Classrooms plus student computer workstations.
All meetings or event-driven use of electronic classrooms can be scheduled by contacting
Events and Conferences office at 713-221-8580. Please note that academic course requests take precedence
for all room reservation requests.
