Welcome to the Applications Management Department at the University of Houston-Downtown

We ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the university’s critical enterprise software applications that power daily campus life.

Our team manages, troubleshoots, and continuously improves key systems including AIMS (parking management and permits), DocuSign (electronic signatures and workflows), Atrium (campus ID and declining balance card system), Automated Logic/WebCTRL (HVAC and building automation), along with other administrative platforms.

We serve as the central point for:

  • Learning and supporting new applications as they are introduced
  • Proactive troubleshooting of technical issues
  • Networking and server management (SSL certificates, logs, services, distinguishing application vs. infrastructure problems)
  • HTML and web form/website maintenance
  • Vendor coordination and application support team collaboration
  • Comprehensive training and documentation for staff and students
  • High-level technical support and customer service for executives, directors, managers, faculty, staff, and students
